Christian A. Lara
President & Founder

In addition to steering Lara y Calderon on course to meet its mission and vision, Mr. Lara makes personalized client service and maintaining high standards of quality and safety primary objectives. Among his additional responsibilities, Mr. Lara plans, organizes, and directs all aspects of the company, evaluates each department’s compliance with company objectives and standards, and analyzes company services with the needs and demands of the industry. Mr. Lara’s experience in the construction industry both in the United States and Costa Rica offers Lara y Calderon a unique perspective and added value.







Xiomara Calderón Lara
Director of Administration

Responsible for the financial and administrative functions of Lara y Calderon, Mrs. Lara creates, oversees and analyzes company and project budgets, optimizes administrative processes and creates all financial reporting for the company. She also creates customized financial reporting for individual clients. She brings over 18 years of experience to her role.






Glenda Valverde Valverde
Marketing and Sales Manager

Ms. Valverde is charged with maintaining company marketing goals and client relations. She performs market studies and implements marketing campaigns that maintain the goals set by the company. She creates and maintains client relationships and recruits, trains and oversees sales staff.    






Ing. Carlos Arce Bolaños
Director of Construction

Mr. Arce is responsible for each construction project, from groundbreaking through to completion. He manages all field work, personnel, and quality and safety controls. Mr. Arce brings sixteen years of experience as a civil engineer in the construction field, developing construction projects of all types.










Arq. Diego Gutiérrez G.
Director of Architectural Design

Mr. Gutiérrez directly supervises the architectural design team. In line with Lara y Calderon’s mission, his priority is that each client’s vision is realized, both in design and technical expertise. In addition, Mr. Gutiérrez coordinates all governmental document filings and permitting. He also assists in the evaluation of construction methods and quoting.










Ing. Andrea Aguilar Brenes
Director of Engineering

Overseeing and reviewing the civil engineering aspects of all design plans and creation of project budgets are among Andrea’s many responsibilities. He supervises the engineering staff ensuring the quality and attention to detail that the company demands. Additionally, he performs site inspections of construction and remodeling projects and is involved in the processing of all government documentation necessary for each project.  










Ing. Manuel Antonio Bello
Engineer

Mr. Bello is charged with quoting, general and detailed project budgeting, site inspections, infrastructure design, public bids, construction structural designs and electromechanical designs.










Arq. Luis Diego Monge F.
Architect

Mr. Monge designs perspectivas and creates the final presentation of each design. He also assists in site inspections, creation of draft and final architectural plans taking into account design criteria. He also evaluates master plans and all architectural aspects of each project.  












Esteban Segura Arias
Administrative Assistant

As a general administrative assisant, Mr. Segura assists in accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, and the marketing and sales department. He also assists on a general basis other areas of the company.
